The Club has the following facilities:
The Members Bar is well stocked with a variety of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks including real ale (Adnams and guest beers).The maximum capacity in the main bar is 120 people. It has a large seating area with comfortable, well upholstered chairs. It also has a darts board, pool table and gaming machines (paying out jackpots of up to £500) The gaming machines are for mebers only.
The Club has a bowls green with a pavilion. Its teams compete in league matches during the Summer months starting in late April playing through to early August. There are also competitions played within the Club. Anyone interested in joining the Bowls Club please contact the Newton Road Conservative Club secretary on 01473728295 for more details. We are always on the look out for more bowlers to join us.
The Club has a function room that is available for hire. The function room has a capacity for 90 person. Please contact the club secretary for more imformation and prices if you wish to book the room.
There is a large car park to the rear of the Club for use by members while in the Club or for guests or anyone attending a function at the Club (Please note that this is locked overnight) There is a covered smoking area to the rear of the club which is heated during the winter months. The Club also has a snooker room - cues are available at the bar. |
